This past Saturday, Home of Revival reached out to the community. We handed out food, clothes and prayer to the less fortunate members of our community and told them about the generous love of Jesus. In Matthew28:19, Jesus instructs us to go out and make disciples of all nations. This past Saturday, that’s what we set out to do. We started at08:00 and as the day progressed, our hearts became heavier. It’s so easy to complain about our lives, about what we have or what we need. But we don’t have problems. Not really. There are people out there who don’t know if they’ll survive the night on the streets. People who don’t know when they might eat next. People who freeze at night and have nowhere to go when a storm picks up. As we prayed for others, one message became clear to our volunteers: Be grateful. Because we have so much, while some people have so little. We pray that the seeds of prayer we planted will continue to grow and that change will come to Vryburg.
